Role: Sr. Experience Designer | Employed at SapientNitro
00 INTRODUCTION
The MGM Grand Las Vegas is a hotel casino located on the Las Vegas Strip in Las Vegas, Nevada. The MGM Grand is the third largest hotel in the world by number of rooms and the largest hotel resort complex in the United States, ahead of The Venetian. When it opened in 1993, the MGM Grand was the largest hotel in the world.
A website for a hotel chain typically includes checking in/out dates and a look into the amenities of each type of room. This project was a hotel chain in Las Vegas that includes luxury hotel rooms, concerts from award winning recording artists, nightlife of entertainment, casinos, and convention center events. Close collaboration between front end development, content strategy and visual design was incredibly important for a project with 100+ pages of content and a complex booking engine.
